Yum, Yum , Yum!!
I love baby rolls. Look at them little chunky elbows.
Arthur was fascinated with the sunlight coming through the window today, making shadows with his hands. It was so cute. But as soon as I got down to take a photo he of course turned around and tried to get us. He is a right little beast!
It makes me emotional to think we will probably never have this again. So we need to cherish every little thing with them.
Every new experience that catches his attention, the way they move there fingers desperately trying to figure things out, the way he babbles on talking crazy at you and how it melts your heart when you turn to him and you can see in his eyes you just made everything OK.
It's not as easy as that when they're older and realise how much there is in the world. Nowadays, I don't think innocence is held onto as tightly. We rush them to catch up with their piers who have iPads and wear make up.
Yes, when your younger you want to do everything your mummy or daddy does. But still your imagination should grow from that. You can see your mummy and daddy cuddle and make your toys do the same :)
It's so hard because as much as it's fantastic that I know she would be able to work an iPad I want to keep her childhood innocence of admiring anything new. At Arthur's age he thinks a wooden spoon is fantastic, Amelie is much harder to please. She still finds some things amazing and I love to see her little face light up when that happens.
Wow that was a long one! Where did all that come from?!
