115/116/117

Little man is into everything! And now he can pull himself up I fear there's no escape!

He loves getting his way to Amelie's doll house, much to Daddy's disapproval, there's so much to grab and carry and drop on the floor. (Also a new thing he likes to do)
We are going to look in to getting him his first pair of shoes :)

115/365

Amelie has spent a lot of time outside recently even though it's stupidly freezing in this country! She drags the dog out and Arthur looks on from the window.
Shouting and bashing.

116/365

We spent yesterday morning at Sophia's Birthday party. I have a load of pictures but this one made me have a little giggle. Can you believe they have the same face expression.
I call this the Connor look!

117/365

I do have a cute picture of Sophia, but it wont load up after I have used photoshop on it :/

So I'm getting there with all my functions on my camera, learning how to use an iMac and now I have to deal with the madness of photoshop! Probably my biggest challenge yet.

Oh and Arthurs feet are too dinky for shoes. So we shall have to wait a few weeks to hope they grow.

Lets hope the sun comes out soon and stays out for a few months!!

113/365

Sebastian was certainly a little shocked when I started flashing my camera at him today!

His yummy mummy and I met for our regular coffee morning.
This consists of bowls full of Latte, little men, catch ups and complaining about everything and anything :) as us women like to do. OK with a little bit of being happy about our nice husbands ;)

Seb is usually asleep giving his mummy peace and quiet but today he was wide awake with a whole lot of cute face going on! So snappy happy I got!
Cant say he really wanted to smile for me though.

Rather unlike my little camera lover!

It's so sweet that both our daughters (you may remember gorgeous blonde Sophia from an earlier blog) are friends around the same age. Now we have our 2 little guys around the same age who will be friends. They will like each other! Needs must.

Its great to have some good friends so close by.
Plus we totally like the same things and both fabulously crazy, right Nikki?

112/365

My gorgeous little man and I enjoyed a lovely brunch together today followed by a food shop (not so fun)

It's lovely to have a bit of me and Arthur time. Amelie was lucky enough to have me for 2 years with no interruption. I hardly got any time with Arthur and I have to take him around working with me. Sometimes it's OK if there's lots of toys and children. If there's nothing though he gets all bored, bless him.

He's back into eating everything he can find.
So hopefully we wont get another 5.30am start again tomorrow!!
He's been back to his normal, content beastly little self. Loving being naked, going for the dogs water dish whenever he gets a chance, sticking his fingers in where they're not wanted and general fabulous cuteness!

This is after yogurt!

P.S Wish the sun would stay out longer than one day!! Shocking it is!! xx

109/110/111

I have been an unorganised, messed up women for the past few days.

But Amelie is back to school tomorrow, Martin's back to work and I am back on it!! So hopefully back to our routine and a bit more organisation!

109/365

We took a trip to Mammar and Granda's over the weekend. I love Arthurs pouty little lips when he's concentrating on something. It's funny how this is something that some adults keep. I've been told sometimes I get pouty when I concentrate. Some people stick their tongues out. Think that's got to be the best one ;)

110/365

Yes I always talk about how I want Amelie to be an outdoors country girl. We want her to want to get muddy, ride bikes and climb tree's. So today we took a walk to Osmotherley and I saw a little tree which I would have been straight up as a child but Amelie ran past. Until I asked her if she wanted to climb it. It was strange that she responded with,'am I allowed?' Strange because I didn't realise we ever made her feel like she wasn't allowed to do something like that. Parenting is tough!!
She got right up there and she was so excited and happy to be doing it. It was a pleasure to watch her smiley face in that tree :)

111/365

She can be a bit defeatist when she can't do something straight away or she maybe wont want to try something new. But today she has been full of adventure. She fell over, she got muddy, she balanced on a log, fell back off and got straight back on again.

As a child I did a lot of hill/moor walking. My favourite thing to do was to find another little path. More difficult or smaller. Amelie loves to do this and the child inside me loves to follow her :)

Children make you realise why your mother told you off whilst you spoke to her when she was on the phone.
But they also make you reminisce of a time when your life was carefree.

They bring this to our lives without even knowing.

My Birthday :) 105/106/107

For my birthday I was whisked away on a surprise 2 night Spa break.

It was a huge surprise. With Martin only just being home a few days before I didn't expect him to have the time to get me a present. And Amelie kept telling me Daddy hasn't got you an iPad (like I wanted). She keeps nothing on the hush!

So when I woke up on my birthday morning I was given a card that was lovely and inside it said to go and check my computer. When I come to my computer it has a page up of raithwaite hall whitby.

He then tells me we're going to stay there for 2 nights, his parents are coming to pick the kids up and we need to pack and get ready. At first I was a bit shell shocked but it slowly sank in.

We had a fantastic first day there. We both had a full body massage and then chilled out with Champagne on the balcony :)

I did not sleep well, nothing to do with the beds. Just me being an 'I love my own bed' type of person. Our second day we had a little walk down to the nearest beach. Sandsend is a cute picturesque village. With a lovely little pub where we had a cheeky pint.
It was lovely just to sit and not worry about anything. Enjoying each others company.

The weather was English, the people were friendly, the company was the best and the thought was perfect :)

Oh and I got an iPad ;) Engraved with,' Happy 25th Birthday Justine, Love always Martin xxxxx'.
Is there any wonder I miss him so much?!
He's my perfect husband. We were meant to find each other and we will always be together through the rough and the easy.

Love you always hubby xxxxxxx

104/365

These very gorgeous boys are mine.

Can you believe I'm so lucky? (yes they can both 'do my head in') But they are beautiful inside and out. I feel so privileged to have found such a loving husband. He's trustworthy, kind, thoughtful (sometimes) and most importantly he loves me as much as I love him.
We are equal together.
That matters.

And we all know how wonderful Arthur is! He's finally getting used to having his Daddy to turn to when he's upset.
But I don't think anyone will be quite like Mummy ;)

Oh yeah and where did the sun go today?
How rude!!

103/365

We had such a fantastic day at the beach. The sun was shining, it wasn't (too) cold, we had fish and chips, ice cream, we got sandy and we had fabulous company.

As soon as I put Arthur down he crawled across to grab a bit of sand. I did think, here we go lots of sand about to enter his mouth, but no he surprised us all by just playing in it. Giving it the odd shout and hit and then happily watching the world go by.

Then Auntie Carla worked her magic on him ;)

And 3 well behaved girls got treats of ice cream! Yes, my little piggy daughter had a double cone, but she did share it with mummy and Arthur :)

It's so refreshing to finally feel the sun on my skin and to be outside without a coat. Going to the beach is a great day out. It's only as expensive as you want it to be. And I know of NO child that doesn't like it?! I hope you all had a wonderful sunny day too :) Here's to it staying this time!

102/365

Amelie is unbelievably happy to have her Daddy back. She has been a right Daddy's girl.

That's fine by me though :) I love to see them happy together.

She loves stretching with him after he's been for a run. She always mimics the way I brush my hair, put on my make up, talk (sometimes good, sometimes not so much)! But it's sweet to see her bond like that with her daddy. She has missed us being together and having 2 parents. It's so hard when your on your to make sure that your 4 year old and baby get as much attention as each other because obviously one requires a lot more than the other. It is definitely an aim of mine to make sure that we have 'girl time' regularly.

Sneaky piccy ;)

As I know my husband is one of my most hardcore followers this has to be a secretive post.

So what can I tell you?!

We did some 'stuff' today and we got creative. Ermm...well you'll see after tomorrow :)

Sorry guys ;)

As tomorrow is the day my wonderful husband is home I would like that picture to be with him in it. And as he's home late at night I don't think I will be coming home to blog. I will be enjoying my family  which I'm sure you can understand. It's not like I'm always on time with blogging anyways though right?

YYYYYYEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

99/365

Thankfully we are all feeling much better now. Arthur doesn't seem quite right still and Amelie is a bit tired but other than that...well no one has been sick for 24 hours!

So yey I got my hair done by another hairdresser I know. I was really looking forward to just sitting and chilling getting my hair done rather than me being the hairdresser. Great because she gave me exactly what I wanted too :)

Well Done Sarah!! And

THANKS!!!

The colour is going to be a bit of a work in progress.

But as Sarah and I discussed. If you want to go lighter you have to build it up. Unless you want to burn your hair off and go orange of course. So we're aiming for the colour at the bottom to lighten the top :)

As I said work in progress. No hair frying for me thank you!

For any hair tips you can contact me on my Facebook page Justine Mobile Hairstylist

My poor little man slept most of the day.

He was so pale and wanted lots of cuddles. It's not fun when babies are sick.

Weekend

I had a pre birthday outing with some ladies on Saturday as me and my hubby will be having lots of time together when he's home just before my birthday.

When you're a wife of someone who isn't around much, good friends and family are really important. When you have children you need that extra help and support. Whether it be an hours peace and quiet or a girly night, I have a few who I can rely on.

Thanks to the ladies who made it. Love ya all xx

96/365

When I haven't seen my, newly crawling, poorly baby for 2 nights it's lovely to get a look at him. Even though he's not very well he's still so handsome. (unlike me who looks like death warmed up whilst I'm ill!) I really missed my 2 cuties this weekend, but they had fun at the grandparents who love to have them. We are very lucky to have them.

 97\365

It's only 4 days now until our team is back together. Now should I share what we call ourselves...maybe another time.

EXCITED!!!!

Thanks to everyone for a lovely weekend.

OK. It's official, my baby can crawl.

This is good news and bad all at the same time.

Of course it's fabulous and ever so cute seeing him get across the room with all his tiny little arms and legs going, all shaky and learning.

But it's exactly one week until his daddy is home. And it's one thing I thought he might of seen him do from his first year. So it's both happy and sad at the same time.

He's going to be into EVERYTHING, I can tell already! He already gets his little fingers poking into every little hole he can find. He's had them in my ears, in the over flow and twiddling buttons on the sky box today! Next it will be plugs and build to cupboards and draws...where's my child leash?

Well done our gorgeous little man. By the time daddy's home you should be fast enough to chase him ;)

93/365

We had great fun at Coulby Newham Farm today. How cute is my little girl riding a pony?! I love that's she's interested in ponies. And the wee baby lamb!!! There was lots of little babies to see. Of course we wanted to bring them all home, but then they do grow big all these beasts!

My gorgeous niece Hannah wasn't too keen on getting on the pony but she was happy to stroke him. She really had a way with them, she stroked it so gently and the little pony was just about asleep. It was fascinating to watch a child be so gentle.

Now this is the beautiful Sophia. Isn't she just a little heart breaker. Not only is she wonderfully pretty she's also kind and gentle. She says the funniest things (copied from mum!)

I am definitely robbing this lady for a shoot when I have the hubby home to baby sit our 2.

Love her little face!

Great day. Now time for a cup of tea and bed!

Fore warning...this time next week I'm going to be a very excitable young women!! That's right YOUNG :)

Night folks xx

92/365

Yum, Yum , Yum!!

I love baby rolls. Look at them little chunky elbows.

Arthur was fascinated with the sunlight coming through the window today, making shadows with his hands. It was so cute. But as soon as I got down to take a photo he of course turned around and tried to get us. He is a right little beast!

It makes me emotional to think we will probably never have this again. So we need to cherish every little thing with them.

Every new experience that catches his attention, the way they move there fingers desperately trying to figure things out, the way he babbles on talking crazy at you and how it melts your heart when you turn to him and you can see in his eyes you just made everything OK.

It's not as easy as that when they're older and realise how much there is in the world. Nowadays, I don't think innocence is held onto as tightly. We rush them to catch up with their piers who have iPads and wear make up.
Yes, when your younger you want to do everything your mummy or daddy does. But still your imagination should grow from that. You can see your mummy and daddy cuddle and make your toys do the same :)
It's so hard because as much as it's fantastic that I know she would be able to work an iPad I want to keep her childhood innocence of admiring anything new. At Arthur's age he thinks a wooden spoon is fantastic, Amelie is much harder to please. She still finds some things amazing and I love to see her little face light up when that happens.

Wow that was a long one! Where did all that come from?!

Easter Weekend

This weekend has consisted of lazy time, chocolate, sweets and treats.

Family time watching films with picnics on the floor.

89/365

Lots of poorly naps and bed hair.

90/365

And it all equals 2 poorly children and a little sleepy boy. So far today he has slept 3 hours. Poor little man. Amelie is poorly but carries on being a crazy child with (not quite as much) energy.

91/365

I hope you've all had a wonderful Easter weekend. With lots of days off and family time.

And I hope someone bought you an egg! I have to go buy my own. But then the person who buys me them isn't here so it's to be expected.

Only 9 sleeps :)

My missing picture :)

Sunny good Friday 88/365
