Well. What can I tell you? I had Man flu!! I couldn't possibly do anything!
But I'm back to life so no worries!

To many it may look like a lot of blackness. But take your time and look.
It's my too black beauties cuddled up. We hope Rocky will start to calm down soon and they can get on better all the time.

263/365

Seem's Arthur thinks cupcakes are hilarious! Best place to eat one?
On your Granda's knee. He can definitely say Granda. He likes to be shouting him all the time. Whether he's sat on his knee or left the building.

264/365

Amelie is really enjoying having her older cousin Hannah about. She came to stay for the weekend. Amelie followed her around ALL weekend, not always to Hannah's likings. But at least she likes her right?! This picture really does she the family resemblance. Both, of course, gorgeous!!

265/365

We are so lucky to have a fabulous park right next to where we live. With sand and everything! Arthur likes to get face first in there getting involved with it all. But he also likes to say 'yuck' and 'dirty' and wipe off all that sand. He's a crazy critter gosh we love him!

266/365

Wow after a majorly busy few days we chilled out! We love cuddling up on the sofa watching a Disney film. Amelie with her hot chocolate, Arthur with his milk and me atm with Lemsip!

One of the none fun things about being a mother is when you're not very well...it's very hard work :(
Thankfully my children do have some chill out times and it gives me a moment to compose myself and build up to the next task at hand!

 267/365

Pretty sure it wasn't me who made this mess :/

268/365

Amelie has dark brown eyes like her mummy :) And a serious face like her Daddy :/
269/365

Crazy cowboy anyone?!

270/365

GIRL TIME!! Our lovelies came to stay over for some girly sleep overs. We had fun time at the park and then important wine time for the Mummys! Seem's having some puppy love was involved.

271/365

Woahh. That was a big catch up. I'm sure that's enough for now.

259, 260, 261, 262/365

We had some drawing outside in the warmer weather. I thought it was a good opportunity to get my camera out.

Arthur says.
'Put down that camera Mummy and draw!!'

He really is a little boy now. As much as I am in denial he feeds himself, walks interested in going to the toilet. He really is growing fast...

259/365

He's a happy little man when we get the pram out. He runs over to it laughing whilst the dogs run around getting crazy and I try and gather what we need, tripping over various animals, children, objects.

After our dog walk though he decided it was a good chill out spot to watch telly. He later started pointing to the kitchen demanding his bottle. High and mighty!

260/365

Arthur will eat biscuits wherever he is offered them. Whether it be at the Library, friends, family even in the car. But never ever at home. Weird?!

Can we guess the flavour? He thought best (obviously) to give this one a little lick, get bored of it and rub it up and down his face. Why wouldn't you? Great plan!

Note to self, plain biscuits next time :/
(actually it is quite funny and cute ;) )

261/365

One of my lovely clients got this coat for Amelie. I love red on her. I love any colour on her really. I think she can rock just about anything!

She's really into riding her scooter to and from school. This really comes in handy when we are in a bit of a mad rush :/
Saves me rushing her along with her tiny little legs trying to catch up with my longer, striding legs.

256, 257, 258/365

Mummy and Amelie time was on the cards tonight.
It's been a long time since we've had mother and daughter time.
AND A HOUSE ALL TO OURSELVES!
This meant Chinese, Tinker Bell, popcorn and of course bed buddies :)

What a lovely night we had.
It's crazy to think one day it may be the same but with wine involved and her telling me about boys.....ugh. Quick off that subject!!

256/365

Because for now she still has tiny hands. Love.

Time on our own was fantastic. But I must admit having Arthur back was pretty awesome for us both too. Safe to say Amelie likes to have her brother about.

Kisses given out freely.

257/365

All I have to say is

Seriously how do you fall asleep like this?
Not to mention 3 other loud children in the room.
Madness!!

253, 254, 255/36

Another first.

Amelie doing her very first set of homework. They're all learning their Jolly Phonics. It really has helped her to understand letters more and how to find them in words. It's great that she enjoys coming home and making sure she's done it for her teacher the next day.

She told me.
'I love you Mummy and I love being in reception.'
She is very unlike me as a child. I was scared and shy. I remember school being big and scary and nobody really understood me (still speaking French).
Amelie is brave, ambitious, clever and eager to learn.

Lets just hope it stays that way through all her school life.

253/365

Arthur has been a funny ole fellow today. He woke up happy and chirpy then went for an early nap. Then he woke up all grumpy, still very tired and pale. Poor little man, I was sure he was going to be sick but it never happened.
He's gone to stay at Mammars for a few nights. To be honest it feels horrible and like I'm missing a limb. But that's when I know he has to go. We love our children and we want to be there for them and for them to want us. But I personally don't think it's healthy for them to be too clingy. He's always been a bit of a Mummy's boy. But I want him to enjoy his grandparents and not to feel sad when he leaves me, but to be excited for his big adventure.
When I was a child I HATED staying out. I cried for my mother all the time. It wasn't until I reached High School that I realised how much fun it was.

Luckily I have some willing family and friends to take my children for sleepovers!

254/365

Sleepovers are good for parents to get that head space of no children too. I did my usual dog walking and went through a field, which I wouldn't have been able to do with Arthur in his pram. I didn't know I was going through this field, I just found it and off I went. I only had my phone with me and thought Rocky was hilarious running through all the tall grass. Can't believe I managed to get this one of him mid flight.

249, 250, 251, 252/365

My poor little man burnt himself :(
You wouldn't believe it from this picture but he was so upset with it.
Seeing your child in pain is a horrible feeling to go through, specially when whilst you try to help it causes more upset. Trying to cool it down was tough. My shower wouldn't go cool, he didn't want to put it under the tap and then he wanted the flannel no where near him.
Daddy was here to help though and dripped cold water from the flannel on, which he still didn't like much but it was bearable.
He quite enjoyed the hospital playroom though and of course fighting the nurse to get the bandage on ;)

Extra loves needed!!

249/365

We saw this prickly little creature whilst we walked the dogs this morning.
It was so cute. We saw him running along from a far. As did Rocky. But luckily he wasn't too fussed about him and just ran past. Amelie was so fascinated it was so cute. I think it's the first time she's seen a hedgehog.
Little things we take for granted are milestones in our children's lives.
The first time Amelie saw a hedgehog...check!

250/365

Found some princesses wondering around the woods today :)

251/365

Any pictures of Arthur are cute. But those big eyes staring right at the lens are my favourites.
Thanks to the lovely Jan for this gorgeous picture.
We had coffee and chats this morning. It was so lovely to meet up with MY friends! Talk with no interruptions. No fall outs. No arguing. No counting we have enough children.
Just 1 happy little man and 2 chatty ladies.

Thanks Jan for a lovely morning I really enjoyed it.
Here's to mummy's finding themselves again :)

Amelies first day of school!!!

Wow!
Around about the same age. Both mega cheeky!
Hmmmm. Really need a new printer :/

245/365

Arthur is majorly cute in his new pj's. But they do make him look even bigger :(
He's so sweet pulling on his ears when he's going to sleep.

246/365

We had great fun meeting up with family. Really need to make it more regular because Amelie loves seeing her cousins. Children grow up so quickly and it's such a shame to miss any bit of their life.

247/365

I cannot believe how fast time does go by. I can remember the day Amelie was born with her big dark eyes staring up at me in complete awe and love. And now here she is at her first day of Reception. She has been so excited about going for so long she didn't go to bed well, up really early! But hey ho I'd rather it was because she was excited rather than scared.

She really has a fantastic attitude to school.

248/365

Mega proud with her!!!
