LOOK how big is Rocky getting?!! Arthur LOVEs his puppy dogs. Giving them big cuddles and always kisses!!

Amelie went away to Mammars for the week and when she came home Rocky was so happy to see her. They have really bonded :)

 241/365

Arthur went and got a bottle out of the cupboard, bless him. I did fill it with some milk after, of course, catching a few snaps of his gorgeous face!

242/365

Oh my! Arthur walks across the room quite happily.

It was strange whilst Amelie was away he decided he thought crawling was better. But now she's back he's thinking hmm yes I want to be like her :)

I hope he chooses to have some of her good behaviour too.

 243/365

Daddy was away all weekend which made Rocky play up ?! And we all missed him.

Even though he is in a 'delicate' state Amelie cuddles are always up for grabs.

My ever so helpful little man is always there to get involved.
Whether I need his help or not he's always there to offer it!

Of course hitting my newly planted lavender was probably not helpful.
Not that I'm bothered in the slightest :)

236/365

We went to watch Daddy playing Rugby in the freezing cold rain :(
(what actually happened was we went out for about 5 minutes to stand beside the pitch, then went back inside for drinks and chocolate)
Amelie and Arthur loved seeing their Daddy playing. NOT looking forward to Arthur being big enough to play rough Rugby :(

 237/365

I always worry about Amelie being at school and making friends. She is very strong minded and a 'born leader'. These holidays have shown me that she is loved at school. EVERY weekend of the holidays she has been invited to a party. They all shout for her when she comes in.

I've seen her care about her little brother and I've seen her care about her friends.

So she may be strong in her head but she has softness in her heart which we all adore.

238/365

Arthur walks more and more everyday. It's so exciting that any day soon he will be always walking and my speedy little crawler won't be around...OK better stop before the tears start :(

239/365

Cheeky tinker! I mopped the floors and he always plays in the dirty mop bucket. SO thinking I'm being clever I filled the washing up bowl up for him to 'splash' in...turns out he'd rather just hop on in there!

Need I say anymore?! His expression tells his story.

Chocolate monster!
Makes out he doesn't want his tea and then Amelie rocks up with a KitKat,  he's interested!
Of course being a lovely, sharing sister she gave him half.
He's lucky she likes to share with him.

232/365

We are very lucky to have a great park near where we live. It's huge with lots for both children to do. Arthur had great fun with a stick he found in the sand. But oh dear then he found a little girl building a sand castle...and the rest is history :/

 233/365

We had Mammar and Granda come down for the day so we visited the park again. When we first came here Amelie was petrified of this zip wire. But now she jumps up on her own and goes flying in the sky at the end! It's great to see my adoptive mother cheer up because of my children :)

 234/365

Arthur slept in till 9am!! It would have been fantastic for me if Amelie hadn't been up at 7! I can't believe how big he is in his bed. He's growing up so fast. I've tried to persuade him to have a sports bottle rather than an actual bottle but, unlike Amelie, it's not going to be an easy task. I need to start being more tough with him. I just can't help giving him what he wants :( He's probably my last baby :(

228, 229, 230, 231/365

Ahh, me time! My little darlings went to Auntie Carla's for the night.
I was a little bit worried that Arthur would be upset leaving as he hasn't slept out for a while.
Well...turns out he was pointing to go outside as soon as Carla arrived. Then when we were getting the car seats moved he was reaching out to get into it. Then sitting pretty in the front seat pointing out the window and waving. I'm never worried about Amelie sleeping out she wants to sleep over everywhere. She looooves to be at Carlas!

Then peace and quiet.

I spent the day in slacks and wet hair :)

(and a lot of cleaning)

 228/365

I missed my little babies. The house is quiet and doesn't seem right without them here. No one to look at before you go to bed. Or to have firm words with when they don't go to bed :)

Arthur had huge smiles for me and lots of cuddles for his Poppy dog. He reached down to get with her then kissed and cuddled her, which she accepted and returned :)

 229/365

Bubbles are always fun outside, sneakily in the house or even in the bath!

230/365

Arthur is becoming very independent when it comes to eating. He ate all his chicken and bacon pie all on his own. NOT just with his hands but with a fork :) Such a clever little man he's getting. He keeps doing more little steps on his own so one of these days I will announce he's walking.

Sad because he's growing up so quick. But of course happy because he's achieved the next goal in his life.

231/365

ALSO he says Yarla (Carla, for those who don't speak baby) Not so much saying Mama yet though!! Grr!

225, 226, 227/365

These last few days have been lovely with my beautiful children and it's been hard to choose just one picture but I've been strong and kept it down. Little man has taken over.

He's going for a bit of geek with a little bit of added Pox!
(If you look real close you can see his little tooth too)!!
He hasn't suffered to bad with his pox so far. They seem to just be coming out slowly and not very many. So it will go one of two ways.
1. He'll get a couple very so often for a while or
2. He'll get a mild case and they'll be gone soon.

Kind of hope it's the first so that he wont get them again.

225/365

We went to South Shields for the day to see Tommy's crew down the coast. We had such a lovely day. Beth and Millie joined us and they all had such great fun. We had ice-cream, fed the ducks and went to the park. The girls climbed up so high on this huge climbing frame and Arthur wanted to get up there just as much. The determination on his face was priceless.

226/365

Amelie isn't too keen on having her played with (typical being a short haired, hairdressers child!).
Arthur on the other hand...his face says it all. I couldn't see his face but I could feel his head toppling backwards.

 227/365

Hope everyones having happy holidays!

221,222, 223, 224/365

Playing in the garden.
Martin of course gets to lay down at the picnic :) Nice to see Daddy and Amelie playing together though!

221/365

Ha, poor husband comes home from a big run lovely and smelly and sweating! Arthur is straight on him jumping about! He's such a best but daddy doesn't tell him to get off...yet!!

 222/365

Happy 1st Birthday to Olivia.
I can't believe all these babies are turning 1 already! I had to have this for my photo of the day!
Arthur learnt to push himself along on this little car! Growing up too fast much?! He has done 2 steps already and I am kind of looking forward to some more but at the same time stop being a big boy :(

223/365

We went out with some friends for some birthday celebrations so this was Saturday night but went through to Sunday morning. So using as my Sunday photo :) I'm not hungover today but really tired with a VERY poorly husband!

It was a fabulous night! Thanks to all the ladies for having a proper GIRLY night out! They're always the best.

And yes we all looked muchos hot and fabulous hair thanks to the in town hair dresser...me :)

224/365

Gorgeous Carla!!

What sweetie children I have.
We were all just chilling and recovering from the Christening. When I turn to look at them Arthur put his hand into Amelie's. They really do love each other and I love that they do :)

218/365

Millie LOVES to play with Arthur, mainly mothering him whilst he tries to escape all the girly ness!
She is very sweet with him though. She pushed him around in that little car for ages, he certainly did not want to get out!

219/365

I love to snuggle up with my little man on the sofa. He's usually majorly cute snuggling in to me, climbing on me or just chilling with a bottle whilst fiddling with his ears.
Snogs got involved in this snuggle time!

215, 216, 217/365

Amelie got creative making some lovely pictures for her friends and their mum's. She loves doing arts and crafts. Arthur wanted a turn but there wasn't enough time to start bathing him after. I'm sure a picture of a very painted child will appear soon.

215/365

Arthur's FIRST tooth has finally worked it's way through. What a nightmare trying to get a picture of it! His mouth was either shut, with a spoon or not focused on his mouth. I'm a little gutted but I'm sure it will soon grow and I will get plenty of toothy grins :)

 216/365

We decided to get Amelie and Arthur Christened.

It was a lovely day and they were both so well behaved. They made me so proud.

Both looking gorgeous in their outfits.

I really hope that the Godparents we have chosen for them will take their responsibilities seriously.

 217/365

Thank you to everyone that joined us and for all the gifts they received.

209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214/365

209/365
I looked after Beth and Millie for the weekend. It was great fun and they were fabulous. We walked, we went to the park and we of course face painted :) Thank you for being great little gorgeous ladies :)

210/365

How do you know when your little girl is growing up?

Maybe when she cries at something sad on a film?

I was so shocked. She said it was making her sad that the lion was leaving the circus and his friends would miss him. Wiping her tears with her dress.

211/365

Daddy's not at work so PT happens at home. So when you're trying to stretch out your sore muscles why would you not want your little beast climbing all over you?

212/365

Poppy is finally, kinda, settling with Rocky. Don't get me wrong he still needs the odd bite on the head because he can be extremely annoying. I'm thinking we may need to buy a bigger bed shortly...when he stops chewing it!

 213/365

HA! My gorgeous boy. I wanted to take a picture of Amelie, Daddy and Arthur on the sofa and as soon as my flash went off he thought it was fantastic! He's a gorgeous little man and I'm loving his crazy curly hair. Oh yeah and you can see still no teeth!!

Mmmm he's munchable!

 214/365

This happens pretty much every day at least twice. Not really able to stop him? Or move the books? Or think he's major cute with that cheeky grin. He knows he's a pest and he loves it.

For now it's ok but what will the future hold?

Lots more charm?
