Little Rocky is settling in well. We've had him about 2 weeks and before us he had no house training. He does the majority of his 'business' outside so far. So we're very proud of him.

Looking forward to getting his last injection done so we can take him for walks :)

178/365

We finally got around to doing my friends bump shoot (on her due date!!) Well, at least we have a decent sized bump to capture! Hopefully the little baby hiding in this tummy will be my very first (proper) newborn shoot :)

179/365

Amelie and Eva are soooo a like. Both Diva's, both curly same coloured hair, both gorgeous. When they were younger people used to think they were sisters. Eva is excited for the arrival of the new baby, just like Amelie was when we had Arthur. Amelie has taken to having a younger sibling fantastically and I'm sure Eva will too. Underneath all the Diva she has a wonderful heart.

Amelie got a hold of Daddy's hat. How funny that she would pull this face?! Such a Daddy face! But pretty much what they have to do when they stand on their parade. We can't wait to see our hero stood there in all his handsome gear making us all proud.

Arthur did a crazy little new thing today. I started flashing my camera and he loved shutting his eyes.

I LOVE his eyelashes, his cute little button nose, his fabby lips all on that luscious face!

174/365

Has there ever been such a poser? He's been a poorly little man for the past few days so not as many smiles as we usually would get. I hate seeing my little babies poorly :( Amelie is only ill for 24 hours max. Arthur likes to drag things out for a week!! That is because he has man flu and us women are tough ;)

 175/365

So we've decided to get Amelie and Arthur Christened. And because I don't have enough to do I'm going to hand make the invitations. Which requires a little picture of my darlings together...hmmm trying to set them up and get light on their faces all by myself wasn't the easiest task! Take 2 tomorrow!

176/365

Amelie and her crazy posing and her crazy head band. Yes, I let her go off to tap like a pink ninja.

Soooo the day after Arthurs birthday and we go to visit a sweet little black thing to see if he could join our family.
....Turns out he fits in just nice. Puppy's can be hard work but when they get to about 2 the craziness calms down a bit. So meet our newest member Rocky :)

166/365

Arthur has always been good when it comes to eating fruit. When he was starting first foods he would not eat anything unless it had fruit in it. Now he is much easier to feed and will eat other things. His favourite fruit right now is a nectarine. Usually the really juicy ones!!

 167/365

I was so excited about my 2 friends having there babies in June. But one of my friends had to have a c-section and she has been a poorly women because of it :( Which meant when we got round to our newborn shoot he was 3 weeks old and he did not want to sleep. I was short on time AND Arthur wanted to climb all over us. So we got one picture then it was time to go! He wasn't even posed!
It was a bit disappointing but a realisation that you CAN NOT shoot newborns over 2 weeks MAX!!

168/365

Arthur, Arthur how you like to get yourself involved in all the mischief!

Some sunny days, means time to spend with friends in the garden :) All our cheeky monkeys played nicely together, which makes for a god day for the mummy's :)
AND Amelie even gave me a gorgeous pic! Gorgeous lady she is!

Arthur is one of those crazy kids that will be running around in the sea when it's freezing. Emma filled the pool with just cold hosepipe water and by the time she had gone to get the warm water from the house Arthur was already in splashing around!

171/365

Yey!! Me and my gorgeous lady friend Nikki went to see Rihanna in concert! We were pretty much like 2 kids when we got there. We were close to the stage and it was all last minute, hugely exciting stuff!!
You may have seen Nikki's children on a previous post, the gorgeous Sophia and cutie Seb. She's a top class mummy and friend!

We had a fabulous day at the fundraiser event for my mother in laws care home. More of Amelie as well. I can't believe how much she has featured this week. She is so pretty :) I love seeing her happy face with all her loving family around her. Children can never have too many people to love them. She is one lucky little lady.

Need I say more about this? Yum, yum, yum!

Arthurs 1st Birthday! 14th June 2013

I cant believe my little man turned one.

It has been such an emotional day. Not one I've been looking forward to or really excited about.

Arthur is most likely to be our last child with us being lucky enough to have 2 healthy children. One boy, one girl. So now he's one I feel like he's not really a baby anymore.

With Amelie I was always excited for the next new thing to happen. Sitting, crawling, walking, talking. With Arthur I'm very happy for him to take his time and stay that little bit more babylike.

He loved all his new toys and the attention off everyone coming in.
He was happy to be crawling about as long as I was not holding another baby.
He was over quick sharpish when there was competition.

He's growing up to be such a handsome young chap.

I will miss him being a baby but he will always be my little baby man. Even when he's all grown up.

I'm so glad Amelie loves him too. It really can go either way when a new baby comes into the home but Amelie has taken to it like it's all she's ever known. She's an amazing big sister and stands up for him already (should be fun for me when they're both older).

I feel very lucky to have 2 happy healthy children who love each other as much as I love them.

Thank you to everyone who came and for all your kind gifts.
We had a wonderful day.

Wow a whole weeks worth of blogging today.

It has been a very up and down week for me. But on the whole it's been great.

Arthur has been a bit of a grump this week. We always think it's his teeth coming through but they never seem to appear?! He must just be having us on all the time! It's frustrating not being able to help him. But it seems as though snuggling with Mickey soothes him :)

158/365

Family days out are always my favourite. They're the best when it doesn't cost much and simple pleasures. We went to the beach one day it was a little chilly (but isn't it always in England?) We played football, the kids and daddy dug a huge hole trying to get to China, fish and chips and of course ice-cream!

Good days out are usually when we can enjoy them with our little
Poppy. She is part of our family so we feel complete when she comes with us. She has become the perfect dog and we all love her very much.

 159/365

On our second family day out we went to one of our favourite places, Preston Park. I wanted some nice pictures of Arthur and his daddy. As you can see from this image Arthur knows exactly how to get into a good pose and daddy is doing the 'mouth open Connor look'. Daddy has a bit of learning to do from Arthur ;)

 160/365

Sometimes when our little man gets up too early we just don't have the energy for much more than snuggling in blankets. Neck high!

161/365

Here she is again our perfect Poppy. Sometimes I have to work at home when it's late at night and the kids are in bed. So how lucky are my clients to come and have this little face to cuddle whilst I make them look fabulous?!

162/365

I LOVE babies in dungarees. Although he looks very unimpressed in this picture he can so pull it off! He's such a handsome chap!

152,153,154,155,156,157/365

For our last child free day we went for a lovely walk with our little Poppy.
I know it's not quite as cute, a picture of me picking flowers, but something had to be done!
Besides I love picking flowers :)

152/365

Although free time was lovely and we had time just to BE. I missed my babies! So having them back home was lovely. Amelie, although slightly moody, was fabulous. She dressed herself up with jewellery, handbags and of course magical long hair. I LOVE her imagination!!

153/365

 154/365

LOOK at how long Arthur's hair is getting! And his little CHUNKY ness.
One of his favourite things to play with is a little wooden lamp which he loves mooching about with in his mouth. Cheeky little cutie!

155/365

Sometimes you just gotta have your milk wherever you can get it!!

p.s. Thanks for looking after Amelie Nikki xxx

156/365

Yey, picnics!!! It's so fantastic all this lovely weather we've been getting. It's refreshing to wake up and see the sun. Just to be able to walk and be warm, to go out and not take your coat and to picnic in the park with super cool sun hats ;)

 157/365

I really hope your all having a wonderful time in the sun.

Lets enjoy it while it lasts!

And cross EVERYTHING that it will stay ALL summer.

151/365 - Special for Tilly :)

I had such a wonderful day in the sun yesterday. I was working but it didn't matter. I spent the afternoon with lots of lovely ladies.

It feels good to go back to Potto and for people still to know me and be welcomed back to the village we loved to live in.

How could you not want this as your view?

Not only did I see lots of ladies I haven't seen for ages but I met this gorgeous young man! He was totally gorgeous and we cuddled for ages! I loved smelling him too. People who love horses know why I would do this ;)

Ahh my lovely Tilly! She's great at getting her picture taken :) And I love how she just lets me take one! Whenever, where ever!!

Wrinkle nose!!

Here's lots for you Jan. Again I couldn't choose a favourite.

Hope you like them xxxx

150/365

Aww I love how much Arthur loves getting his photo taken!!

I do have to have my flash on for the best smiles. Even though he's a poorly little man at the moment he still gets a smile out for the camera :)

His new thing to do was hide from the flash. Little arms trying to reach up to cover his gorgeous little head!

His face cheers me up any time :)

Love you little man xxxxx

149/365 - Fun at the Zoo.

Yey. We finally got to go Edinburgh to see our little friends Zoe, Keith and Rubster!

Oddly enough Ruby does not speak in her Scottish accent all the time!
Most of the time it's the London accent with the odd word off Scottish. She picked up a bit of Yorkshire from me :)
Ruby is major coolness bottled up into a cutie little face!

Yes, she did rob some hot chocolate from mummy!

I LOVE blossom trees. They are on my list of favourites. And Amelie loves them too! Standing under and catching them! It was pretty difficult tugging a branch whilst taking a photo...hmm need an assistant!

There wasn't a huge amount of animals at Edinburgh Zoo but they had some major cool penguins! They were really fun!
We even found these crazy posing penguins! Ha ha.

AND PANDAS!!!!

A lazy sleeping panda and a munching panda. Smaller than you think but still really impressive.

I do really love going to the Zoo and all the amazing animals you get to be so close to. But then I get my cogs turning in my little ole head and I worry about these animals not existing in a decades time.
And sometimes there enclosures don't seem big enough for them when their natural habitats are huge areas.

They are protected here though. The zookeeper said they hoped that the lady panda was pregnant :)
