Arthur is poorly still. He slept from 10.30pm last night, after his hour long not nice coughing, till 6 this morning. He had a bottle then straight back off till 9.30am. Poor little dumpling he still had a 2 hour nap this afternoon and then was back into bed by 6pm.

This will also be the first night he will share a room with Amelie. This is him asleep in my bed for his nap.

Hopefully that goes OK. I will give it a few nights and if it's a night mare he can go into the spare room.

Wish me luck!! I'm going to need it!!

But hey if it doesn't go well I don't mind him snuggling in my bed :)

Arthur practised his dog mannerisms with Poppy today. First was heads down, eyes up sad face.

Then there was the yawn. Nice open mouth!

After the lesson Poppy even let Arthur have a little mess on with her tail. She is the best!!  I couldn't have asked for anything more from her. I trust her 100% with children.

Arthur loves her and thinks she's fabulous too :) I don't think I could ever have a child that was scared of dogs. He gave her a big hug for being such a fabulous friend.

Love you Pop-a-dop-alus!!

Amelie and I, even her teachers, are all so proud of her fantastic wooden stick house she built!

She made it a few weeks ago but they have had it on a display so she wasn't able to bring it home!! How proud I am of her! She even put 3 little pigs on it.

When she sets her mind to something she is so capable of doing anything. Luckily the Pre-school she is at is very good at getting the best out of her.

Oh and she managed to write her last name all by herself today :)

She is ready for Reception now and can't wait for September (neither can I most days)!

We met iddy biddy Rascal today. Amelie overly loved him :/

She finally let him have a nap, on her of course.

Isn't he a little cutie?!

We've been busy little bee's today. A little bit of hair play and practise with Amelie's hair this morning.

Then I've finally had a big clean on every floor and it's spotless! Mostly! Still have to do other boring things like mop floors :( But squeezing my 365 before that!

As you can imagine the kids have made mess as I've tidied it then boredom hit and we had to fit in a little photo shoot.

Arthur had to sit on the stairs whilst I hoovered them because he just wanted to be near his mummy. Then Amelie wanted to pose for me so I had to quick get my camera pointed at her whilst she let me. How much does she look like me on this?! Its crazy!

Left him sat on it and then he ends up wrapped in it!

Bubble wrap is always good fun for children and adults alike.

To say he doesn't crawl he certainly gets into and around everything.

He is being a little tyke with feeding, so I think for my own sanity I will let him have his pureed, expensive food for a little while and start on being tough mummy another time.

Total chill out and clean day tomorrow. Can't wait! Clean house and relaxed state (hopefully).

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :)

Can we guess who likes having their picture taken by mummy?

We've had a busy ole day again today and it's taking its toll on Amelie. She has a bad temper at the best of times but the past few days have not been good and she has a tendency to hit me. Hopefully it's just a phase and when she gets back in to her routine of school she will be better. Role on September!!

Hope your all enjoying half term xx

Chilling in the trolley munching his daddy's helpforheroes wrist band.

Of course having a nosey at what everyone's doing too!

I used a self scan service today where you go round and scan all your own shopping and pack it then scan the till later to pay. It's a good idea for such things as telling you how much you've spent and you don't have to unload and reload all the shopping. But I'm a bit worried as to peoples jobs. You don't need many staff to make sure everyone can manage. I feel a bit like we invent more and more things that may help us do things faster but then there are so many people who can't find a job? And there's no customer service, you're working with machines the whole time. Although I mainly go to self scan in my local shop because I can't stand it when you get rude staff. Who chat away to someone else, don't look or talk to you and have no manners. I think I may as well have just served myself! But still I don't think we should be loosing so much interaction with people and they should learn more about customer service! Lots of shops are closing down because everyone buys online now. One day it may end up there are no more shops to visit. I do worry about things like this.

Woahhh...getting very in depth better have a cup of tea!

Arthur is a typical man, if he doesn't have to do it he won't.

So trying to get him to hold his own bottle is becoming my personal challenge for him. He's 8 months old. Amelie was doing this by at least 6 months! So today we achieved it slightly when he wasn't wriggling or waving his arms about he managed it quite well.

It's hard to resist those eyes though. He still seems so small. He's about the same size as 4-5 months old we see. But like Amelie I'm sure he will have growth spurts and be taller for a few months.
She is smaller than most of her friends still but every so often she over takes them.

3 nights in a row he has only woke up once. So I'm hoping it will slowly fizzle out to none. When he starts eating a bit more. Tonight might not be great because he was in bed by 6.15!

I do often wonder if it makes a difference that I had more time to help and teach Amelie to do things.

I must make more time for them separately. Well maybe when the husband is home.

It has been another lovely sunny day!

We went to the park this morning with some friends.

This morning it was freezing!! We all enjoyed it though and Arthur got a little go in the swing which he thought was pretty fantastic.

And a bonus is he slept really well last night. Here's hoping it happens again tonight!

Send me luck xx

I enjoyed the photo shoot so much today!!

I was a bit stressed about having to do 5 couples, but I did it and even chucked a few kids in here and there :)

Now I really hope everyone will be happy with the results.

This is my good friend Jan and her daughter Tilly (who is also my little model) and her Mr man Martin.

Aren't they all wonderful? And yes Jan you look fabulous! So don't complain about your beautiful face!! (Michelle and I will tell you off)!!

This is the wonderful family of Roger, Michelle and Amy.

Michelle and Jan have been friends since school. From what Jan tells me they have a wonderful relationship and great friends.

I think they're both wonderful, kind people.

It was lovely to see you all today. Have a nice time together.

Thank you to everyone today for letting me practise and boss you all :)

They know how to cheer me up with a bit of Costa Coffee.

Quick snap in my short amount of time!

Love you girlies :) xxx

I've achieved loads today! Even though I'm shattered and grumpy. I've made appointments, been to appointments, been to the shops and walked Poppy (and this nutter!)

Amelie's dress sense is major coolness. I love seeing what outfit she will think of next.

Now I really must get a cup of tea and chill out. Possibly may involve a bath :)

x Happy Valentines Day x

Mobile picture today.
Rather un impressive picture today I had lots of ideas but then ended up with no time! And was stuck in a traffic jam for an hour :(

I had a non romantic play date with Dan the Man and the girls.

Just another thing to catch up with when hubby gets home!

I did get a Valentines card off my husband today :) Yey. Good to know he thinks of these days when he's all that way away.

Some couple shoots this weekend really looking forward to it!
Lots of pressure though because I have 5 couples to do in one day!!!!

Wish me luck! xx

So many things have gone wrong today, as well as being tired from Arthur getting up several times and Amelie trying to get up at 6. Bad, tiring start usually make for bad days and bad moods all round :(

And in the darkness comes the light...

How cute are they?! Playing in there little house having a picnic with snack a jacks. It's major cuteness. Mainly because I didn't ask her to play with him, she just does. I didn't ask her to share, she just wants to.

Best of all you can see there smiling at each other :)

It's Pancake Day!! And we all feel sick with them. Why do we think it's a good idea to make as many as you can, forgetting you have to eat them all.

Arthur and Amelie enjoyed them though :)

This is a little picture on my phone today of my view feeding Arthur. He was holding his 'schnuggie' to his face as he likes to rub his face whilst he falls asleep. But he felt me move, so quick grabbed my arm before I thought about putting him down! Would I dare! He loves a cuddle with his mummy and I love to cuddle him.

Today Arthur and I met up with some friends for a coffee. He was all happy sitting in his little chair watching everyone and eating his cheese twist.

Then...out of the blue...he drops it!

Not  a happy man!

I thought this was quite funny though. The drama has started with him.
8 months old and he has started with the little tempers they have.

How terrible it is to drop a biscuit. Bless him.

So today is the turn of Amelie and her funny face :)

I only managed one funny face though, as all mothers know, 4 and a half year old's are very busy!

I loved the blue background against her skin and dress :) Think I might be moving bunk beds to get some more good pics :)

A quick beautiful picture too.

And a quick one of Arthur and his cool hat. This lad can rock anything. Major dude!!

40/365

I got my babies back today, and oh how I missed them right up until Amelie had her first tantrum and Arthur did a HUGE poo that went all up his back!

But who am I kiddin' I still love them for it! Amelie is so grown up, it shocks me when I think she will start full time school this September. And she is so ready for it. Her reading is really improving and when she wants to she loves writing, on her terms only :/
Arthur looked different too. He seemed to look more like a little boy than a baby and had more hair!

We went to visit my good friend Emma today cause it's her birthday!!

Happy Birthday Emma!! xx

Amelie loves going to Emma's, as do I. Her and Arthur had a picnic...she wasn't too impressed when Arthur decided to help himself to a bowl of soup though!

He had eyes on the teapot too...which he did eventually snag when she put it down for a second.

I don't really think I'm looking forward to the day when they both argue as to who has what and who it belongs too. But then what can I do, their siblings. I'm pretty positive Arthur will be much more laid back than Amelie. But I hope not too much. 1) he needs to be able to fight his own corner and 2) I don't want him to be as I was as a child and be too quiet to get the most out of life.

But as their mother I find it my duty to make sure Amelie learns it's not better to over power everyone. As for Arthur...YOU CAN DO IT!!! Amelie will be a good influence for him in that way because she is very outgoing.

Love you my little munchkin cutie faces!!

NEED to be more positive!
So this face has to go!

It's quite difficult getting back into the mind frame of your life is on hold again...just wait.
9 weeks to go.
My blogging does seem to be very husband related and revolve around him. But truthfully, it does, he is my other half in marriage and heart. I don't think I'm fully complete without him here. I have great family and friends around me but just sometimes nothings enough. I'm someone who works well off words of encouragement and Martin knows that, and when to give them to me. So today I had words with my self. I think my 10am lay in may have helped too!

So to make time go quick I must plan things.
I  must socialise with friends :)
I must make sure I'm super gorgeous for my husbands return :)
I must do more activities with my fabulous children!
That means workout and...think sexy!

And of course practise, practise with my camera even if it is on me...

...or my other fabulous model :)

She looks really impressed!

Bit of fun was had today. I did take loads of pictures of lots of crazy faces but cant fit them all on.
HA HA!!

I couldn't take Amelie to Tap because I wasn't feeling very well at all.

She wasn't too happy, but then realising how ill I was she started to do the washing up for me.

How sweet she is :) Love her so much xxxx

36/365

Arthur loves everyone. But there is a certain few people who he loves to see.

Kristabelle is one of those people. He will kick his legs and shout with excitement.

When she came to look after me today he was in his little jumperoo and basically stared her down until she picked him up!!

Aunty Megy Meg Meg has spent the morning trying to make him crawl. He found this quite funny...but did not go for it. Better luck next time Meg!!

My wonderful helpful sisters came to look after me today. It's not easy being on your own with 2 children.

(this picture was not taken today)

Thank you for coming to look after me my lovely ladies.

I'm so ill :( I'm trying to fight through but it's making me so tired!

Luckily Arthur and I had a cutie nap today which really helped.

Of course I had to control my urge of just watching his gorgeousness sleep!

He is such a chilled out little man so whilst I'm being a wimp and mooching around half doing things he will quite happily sit and bash his xylophone.

Really miss my husband when I'm ill. He looks after me and the kids. Amelie is a little treasure when I'm tired she says, it's OK mummy you can go for a sleep. For only being 4 she's very caring and thoughtful...most of the time. She looked so grown up in her uniform today :( I need to photographic but it makes me emotional.

9 weeks ish to go till my hubbys home!! YEY!!

I got my reflectors to play with today can't wait to use them.

And Amelie liked getting her picture taken today too.

She has had a wonderful time at Mammar's and Granda's. But I missed her little face. She my gorgeous little helper most of the time and when she's being good she's the best little girl.

Arthur likes to be helpful by tugging on my strap when I'm taking his picture :)

His little fingers are just divine.

Beautiful Tilly.
She wanted her hair doing after all the other ladies had, but I only cut hers last week so we opted for some plaits instead :)

Tilly was the perfect model today on our 5 minute shoot. I asked her to stand against the shed and she did , I asked her to do a little smile and she did, I asked her to look at the sky...she did.
Every year she grows, changes, learns. One day we will look back on these with a warmth in our hearts. And one day the girl in this picture will become a women. Then I will photograph her wedding and her babies...if I'm cool enough to by then ;)

Watch out mummy and daddy I think you've made yourself a heart breaker ;)

You gorgeous girl you!!

Sorry it's late.

Look how Arthurs hair has started going into a little tuft at the top! He's going to have lots of hair, yey finally a child with hair!

I won't let it be longer than Amelie's though!
