YES!!!
It's been sunny and the best bit about that is big pink sunglasses!!!

I love it!!!
OK so it wasn't exactly warm, if anything it was freezing and very, very windy BUT  non-the-less still sunny and that puts me in a good mood :)

My exciting achievement today was...I ran for 10 minutes straight on a pretty fast level on a running machine! To some this may seem small and not very impressive. But to me it's awesome! I have never been able to run on a running machine. I can't seem to run straight on them and end up breathless pretty much straight away. Today I thought I would give it another go because I don't struggle to do 20 minutes on a cross trainer any more, and I have been inspired by many people around me loosing weight and changing lifestyles. I nearly chickened out but I went for it and yes I couldn't breathe by the end and my legs felt in total and utter pain. I did it though and I'm so proud of myself, to be honest I couldn't stop from smiling whilst running :) Just from pure pride.
One day I would like to be able to run the Great North Run by my husbands side :)

Sunshine makes for a good day xxx

I LOVE DAFFODILS.
(reminder to self, must remember to buy daffy bulbs)

They are definitely one of my favourite flowers. They remind me of sunshine and warmth. And walking Amelie from school and having to pick a cheeky one or two.

I'm really looking forward to summer. Hopefully this year will be better than the last and we can wear pretty dresses, little shorts, sunglasses and sandals. WITHOUT the goose pimples!!

Simple, beautiful flower.

Arthur is soooooo cute!!! He is my little smooshie, cutey, fabulous chunk of loveliness!!!

I love this picture but I'm also very annoyed I've cut the top of his head off!! Grrr, silly mummy.

So he managed to fit in something new today, between all his wonderfulness, he found the bar on the side of the bath and was playing about with it for ages and then... WHAM!!!

He lifts himself up! Slowly but surely! I can't believe it I wish daddy was here to see. Lucky i had my camera on hand!

Please note I realise it's probably only family members and close friends that find this interesting...but...never mind :)

27/365

Amelie has a fantastic imagination. I love listening to her playing her little games and making up stories. One day she can be harry Potter destroying all the wrong in the world, the nest she will be a squeaky princess putting all her babies to bed.

Her favourite thing at the moment is these simple blokes which she has built castles with when daddy was home.

Today she has decided to build flowers :)
AND LET ME TAKE A PICTURE!!!

Arthur was having a little moment whilst this was going on, unlike him, so i took a pic of him having his little stress...

Add a little flash...(excuse the brightness wanted more affect)...

And hey presto!

Aren't they both fabulous?!

25/365 - Jan-a-lan and Till-bob

We spent our day with good friends Jan and her little girl Tilly.

We've known them for 4 ish years...basically the baby girls brought us together. At that time Jan was having fun times with a crying Tilly and Amelie was crazy but at least slept through the night.

I think we can tell from this photo who is harder work now!
It was a last minute thing to take a picture as I totally forgot (nothing to do with chatting all day!)
We asked the girls to pose and, after running up and down like hooligans for 5 minutes, they did this.

It inspired what i wanted to write today...

If they went to school together I don't think they would mix. They are totally different.
Tilly being the shy girl and Amelie being the loud child!

But through their differences they love seeing each other and I hope they will stay friends until they're both little old ladies talking about how their mummy's always used to meet up and drink lots of tea :)

Thank you for being truly great friends :) Much loves to you.

Arthur found the day exhausting.

24/365 - Love you Mr. Man :)

It's been a day of mixed emotions. We have all treasured our time with our Hubby and Daddy. Amelie and Daddy love baking...

But not as much as they love each other, real Daddy's girl.

Arthur enjoyed licking the spoons after :)

He has DEFINITELY got bluey/green eyes!!

I think Amelie thought it was a success :)

We will miss you so much Hubby.

But it's because you're so fantastic that your worth the wait.

11 weeks to go xxxx

23/365

This is my cuties this morning. Asking Amelie to get ready for school a hundred times, but all she wants to do is love her brother...

We did go ice skating today but forgot to take my camera! Shocking I know!

It was much fun though. I couldn't go last time with having a pregnant belly. We should go more often though because Amelie really enjoys it. I've thought about lessons for her but with her Ballet and Tap I think it would cost me a fortune and Arthur will eventually want to do some activities too. Even my mother in law had a try at ice skating. At a mature age (in number not behaviour) has never been ice skating before, she managed one lap with help from her son and someone who worked there, she made a good effort. For that we are all proud (and at the time highly amused)

Well done Lesley :)

22/365

Woah, look at this I'm blogging myself :/ Shocking as I hate getting my picture taken.

I'm learning to cope with it more now, as I want Amelie and Arthur to have pictures of us all together.

Its nice to see what your family used to look like I always think.

AND if I expect people to let me take their picture I will have to learn to be in front of the camera myself.

I'm finding two of the hardest things about photography are finding the right light and posing. Mood light works great on my face. ;)

But practise makes perfect! So who fancies being a guinea pig?

21/365

Just after his bath Arthur is a crazy little man. He is giddy and jumpy and laughing all the time.

Until you start trying to dress him and then he aint so happy!

He's so gorgeous, I really do just want to eat him all the time. And most of all he LOVES it when I get my camera out and take his picture, especially with the flash on, he thinks it's hilarious!

And did I mention he's a crazy little dude?!

He knows how to make his mummy laugh :)

20/365 - dedicated to the Luck's

Today was the party of Miss Millie Moose. She's a cutie pie. Looks innocent but watch out, you know when you've been moosed!
I've known Millie's mummy for a long time. Back when we were young and carefree. Since then we have both had 2 children, got married, moved (several times) and subsequently are far from carefree!
She's there in a crisis and a fabulous friend to have!

This is Millie...

...And Beth, not the happiest girly today but she cant hide her beauty even underneath 'that' look!

And of course they are both Amelie's bestest of friends. Even when they fight and say they don't like each other. Deep inside they love each other.

The Luck's are a beautiful family who we are grateful to know.

So thank you for being there when we need you and generally for everything you do.

Muchos love from us to you xxx

SNOWWWWWW!! And lots of it. So of course fun has been had. The snow has been perfect for making a snow man. So fingers thoroughly frozen, bums cold and feet numb...

...but we like to think it was a success :)

Even our gorgeous little rabbits Emma & Emily had a good time. It was there first snow too.

Now back inside for some hot chocolate and cheese and crackers. Yumminess!!

Look at my gorgeous husband, also yumminess

18/365

I actually can NOT wait to take Amelie and Arthur out into all the fantastic snow tomorrow.
(Bearing in mind it's only fantastic because I have my husband at home!!)
Amelie has been desperate to build a snow man, we've held her off on the promise of more snow. We have been proved right! She saw a bit of it fall before bed but by tomorrow it will knee deep!

It'll be just like Christmas in the morning :) Must remember to have my camera at the ready.

Arthur is mesmerised by it all. I would love to know what he thinks about it.

Pure fascination...

17/365

This little cutie is my niece, as all the Connor children she is a crazy nut and fabulous to boot! Those gorgeous chocolate eyes are something she shares with Amelie. I love seeing them play together.

Innocence...

I know my plan was to just put the one picture on everyday, but look at all this cuteness I have to work with!!

He's suffering with those poor little teeth, bless, but he smiles like a trooper through it all.

16/365

When its frosty outside one of my favourite things is cobwebs. I'm not a spider fan or a cob web fan really but frost really makes everything look beautiful. A white wonderland. If I'd had the time i would have found lots of white trees with the wintry fog. I saw it through a car window so bliss was found :)

How it can join fro my shed to the washing line?! Clever horrible little things they are! I saw something somewhere that they are trying to use spider silk to fix nerves that will help with back and neck injuries. Amazing eh! I'm getting all educational now.

When its cold and I don't want to go outside, there is NOTHING better than being with these 3 beautiful people whom i love unconditionally, in of course jammies! Having my husband home makes everything OK, it completes our family.

His help with the kids has been fantastic....BUT....i expect it when he returns fully, be warned hubby!!

Amelie helped make our lovely chicken and bacon pie today.

Most of this pastry did not make it to the oven but the bits that did were very yummy!!

Home sweet home

CUTE AS!! Arthur :)

It was beautiful being at Whinfell with this gorgeous snow. Even though there is hundreds of lodges, you wouldn't even know because of all the beautiful snow covered trees.

And then the sun was shining. I LOVE IT when the sun 'splits' the trees...

Home now with my wonderful family and our missing puzzle piece xxx

13/365

On this day my husband and I went Horse riding ourselves! It was completely fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed myself...my husband maybe not quite as much...

Of course i couldn't take my camera :( Bad times.

I used to ride ALOT when I was younger we occasionally owned horses or loaned. But i was always riding some sort of horse from small ponies to racehorses!
It was a huge part of my life which has been lost in general growing up and finding a career and saving the tiny pennies i earned.
I was a bit worried I wouldn't know what to do but it was like riding a bike.

Now the fire has been rekindled...

12/365

Amelie is definitely a Granda's girl. In fact when we had Arthur we worried about her being jealous. She certainly can be but it usually involves her Granda...

Unfortunately I didn't get a moment to take any photos of the kids seeing daddy for the first time BUT it was all fantabulous. She's so happy to have her daddy back!

Amelie went pony trekking! It was so exciting for both her and I! Her little pony was Haribo and he was LUSH!
Amelie loved him, a cheeky little rider to a cheeky little pony.

Happy day xx
